Imagination is more important than knowledge

Can you imagine you and I contributing something positive to the world by me typing and you reading this?

Let's list the possibilities:
1. Enlightenment (depending on what we are writing and who is reading).
2. Power consumption (what is your carbon footprint?)
3. Maybe we are just shifting around dollars momentarily from the ad budgets of companies like Disney or HomeDepot (advertisers) to us (publishers) via Google (middle man) so that we can then return those ad dollars back to the companies in the form of higher prices for their products and services. Did I leave out the venture capitalists, endowment funds, investment banks, accountants, lawyers, healthcare companies or Wal-mart? Oops.
